The Ashen Guardian
A Cinderhorn Stag stalks the party through a corrupted forest, its burning antlers leaving trails of smoldering ground as it seeks to purge intruders from its charred domain.
The Charred Grove
The forest floor crunches underfoot with the sound of brittle ash and charred wood. Ancient trees stand like blackened sentinels, their branches reaching skyward in twisted, skeletal forms. The air is thick with the scent of burnt pine and wet soot, and you notice the ground beneath your feet is still warm to the touch. In the distance, a massive stag with antlers that glow like embers watches from between the trees, its eyes reflecting the flames that dance along its crown.
The Cinderhorn Stag has been corrupted by some ancient fire, transforming it from a forest guardian into a vengeful spirit of ash and flame. It sees the party as intruders in its charred domain and will test their resolve. The stag moves with deliberate, threatening grace, leaving smoldering footprints that create hazardous terrain. Its presence draws other fire spirits to the area, creating an increasingly dangerous environment. The stag's eyes burn with an inner fire that seems to pierce through the drifting ash, and it will use its antlers to create blinding clouds of smoke and embers.
