By downloading, installing, or using the Heartforge application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms apply to all users of the App, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.
Heartforge is a digital game aid for tabletop role-playing games, designed to assist game masters in running their sessions.
Some features of the App may require you to create an account. You are responsible for:

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Heartforge and are protected by international copyright, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
Daggerheart and related game content are the property of their respective owners. This App is not officially affiliated with or endorsed by Darrington Press, LLC, the creators of Daggerheart.
You retain ownership of any content you create using the App, but you grant us a license to use, store, and display such content as necessary to provide the App's services.
You may create and store content within the App, such as custom encounters, characters, and adventures. You are solely responsible for:
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable.
Your privacy is important to us. The application does not collect personally-identifiable information, and only saves anonymous user identifiers for the sole purpose of delivering required functionality related to purchases and subscriptions.
We may collect and store data necessary to provide the App's functionality, including:
Besides crash reports, no analytics are collected, and all data is handled anonymously. Purchase and subscription processing is handled by third-party providers including RevenueCat, Apple App Store, and Google Play Store, each subject to their respective privacy policies and terms of service.
Heartforge offers optional premium subscriptions (monthly and annual) that unlock additional features. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You will be charged through the platform where you originally subscribed.
Heartforge may offer a one-time "Lifetime" purchase option. "Lifetime" means access to the premium features of the App for the duration of the App's active service lifecycle. It does not guarantee perpetual or indefinite access. If the App is discontinued, substantially redesigned as a new product, or replaced by a successor application, a Lifetime purchase grants access only to the original App as it existed during its active service period.
The App is provided as a live service that may evolve over time. We reserve the right to add, modify, or remove features; change pricing for new subscribers; or discontinue the App entirely. In the event of discontinuation, we will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice. Existing subscriptions will remain active until the end of their current billing period, and Lifetime purchases will retain access until the service ceases operation.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you retain access to premium features until the end of your current billing period. All purchases are final and non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law or by the refund policies of the platform through which you purchased.
Purchases may be processed through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or web-based payment providers (such as RevenueCat). Each platform has its own billing terms, refund policies, and subscription management procedures. You are responsible for managing your subscription through the platform where you originally purchased it. We do not have direct access to your payment information.
We may change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes for existing subscribers will take effect at the start of the next billing period following reasonable notice. Lifetime purchase pricing may change at any time, but changes do not affect existing Lifetime purchasers.
We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, secure, or continuously available. The App may be subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of internet and electronic communications.
In no event shall Kieksi Digital be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.
We may terminate or suspend your access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately. You may lose access to your account and any stored content.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting the App or contacting us.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes through the App or by email.
Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Finnish law shall apply to the Terms of Use and their interpretation, aside from cases in which there is a conflict between the legal provisions in question.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Finland, unless otherwise required by mandatory law.
